Jason joined Stantec in May 2024 as the Urban Places Sector Lead for Canada. A proud urbanist and accomplished city-builder, Jason’s role at Stantec is to bring together leading practitioners from across North America in planning, transportation, architecture, urban design and landscape architecture, to solve complex urban issues and create great urban places.  He is a Registered Professional Planner with over 28 years of professional experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to joining Stantec, Jason spent 10 years leading the Planning and Economic Development Department in his hometown of Hamilton. In 2024, Jason was named Planner-In-Residence at the University of Waterloo School of Planning for the 2024-2025 school year.
