Kieron Hunt leads the Planning Studio at FBM where he and his team undertake regional growth plans, commercial and industrial economic land use studies, housing strategies and community engagement, as well as multi-faceted development feasibility, massing and layout plans. Currently, he and his team at FBM along with a collaborative multi-disciplinary team have been working with the HRM on the development of a Functional Plan for the Wanderers Grounds. This work has involved extensive iterative engagement, planning and conceptual designing with all on-site user groups. The goal is to establish a consensus for compatible, complementary growth within a framework of accessible and welcoming urban design that enhances the public realm and builds upon the broader Halifax Common Master Plan vision.
